I've seen a lot of the same thing. Church leaders do believe and are even trained to believe that dressing up the building will attract visitors and members. They invest quite a bit into this. It's a business and making clients and customers comfortable is part of the model. More people need to begin being the church outside of the building in order to show others that all of that is unnecessary. That is our challenge at this time.

We have to show a viable alternative to what we see.
