A lot of the resistence to change has more to do with person conviction than rebellion. It is hard for people to truly believe that they have been doing the wrong things for all of the best intentions. We have to be careful in questioning the intentions of our brothers in the faith. But, we also have to stand in the face of this surrogate bride we have created. There is nothing wrong with opposing an impostor. But, make no mistake - we are not unplugging from the ACTUAL Body of Christ.

I totally agree with this.
I've read so many books like "No More Christian Nice Guy" and "Everything Must Change" and yet most people in church want to keep the status quo. So like the Constine gnostic church that keeps trying to keep it's flock from being the church.
