I came across a saying that St. Frances supposedly wrote. I'm not even sure who St.Frances was but he was quoted saying "Preach the Gospel, if necessary use words." This quote is short but strong and is a big part of being the Church.

This story was sent to me through email. It reminded me how people can be. Sometimes people come to us with problems and if it doesn't concern us directly we say things like "I'll pray for you" or "have faith my brother". We never think that it will affect us. This story reminded me that we should never ignore anyone's cry for help, especially as the Church.

I like the fact that Jesus spoke in parables. He spoke in parable to help us understand things a little better. In Matthew 25 He gave a few different parables. For me these parables gave us some good things to go by to be "The Church".
