Unplugged Blogs

Thanks

No, I'm not going anywhere. I just want to really say "Thank You" to the whole unplugged group and to all who have been there through the struggles. All of you have really been important in my life and I wanted all of you to know how much I appreciate you.

The past year has been an interesting one for me and my family. We were very involved in the church and also built many friendships during this time. In a few short months the church closed and we eventually decided not to go back to the church structure that we knew and many of those relationships that were built collapsed. It was a very awkward time in my life. Like a roller coaster life really brings the ups and the downs. But then something happened. I let it all go. I appreciated the good times and let go the bad ones. Recently we have built some new friendships and have strengthened some other friendships. Although some of us are going through some tough times we have bonded together to work it out.

When I look at all the articles some of us have written it really shows a lot of what life is. "Excuses", "Procrastination", "Why should I forgive? ", "Relationships and Honesty", "What is a Friend ? ", "Victims Live in the past and Victor's Live in the Future" and "The Pursuit of Happiness" These were all part of what I personally have been through during my life and certainly in the past year. I thank God for all of my friends who have contributed to my life. I want to thank my wife Rosemary and tell her that I'm proud of her. Her articles have really inspired me. I want to thank her for being "Real" and I want to let her know that I love her very much. You are a great wife. (You're still not going to win that bet) To Jose and Mayra, I want to thank you for your honesty, support, (craziness- that one was specifically for you Mayra) wisdom and giving heart. Jose, you are in a class by yourself and I really mean that in a great way.

To Victor and Ana, I want to say thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives, trusting us and also for a giving heart. (Go Yanks) Victor, it's a pleasure to be your friend and to have you as one. ( I'm still waiting for your article) To Eddie L- you don't know how much of an influence you have been to me. Thanks Bro. Chris- Love you man. Pastor Gomez and Falcon- You have been very special and important in my life. To my mother and father- I love you and miss you. I could never thank you enough for all you have done for us. You all have imparted things that have really helped me grow and I will never forget that. There are many others I could mention but I wanted to give a special shout out for the ones that have been there for me recently.

Recently there have been a couple deaths that have happened to people that we know. It really makes you think about how insignificant our problems are. It's too bad that it sometimes takes some tragedy to help us realize this. I want to make it a point to try and enjoy life as much as possible with the people I love and care about and honor God in everything that I do. I know that it's not always easy but as long as our life here on earth seems it really is short. I know this isn't very 'Spiritual' but these are my thoughts at this moment and that what's great about our group.

I want to thank God for his grace, mercy and for putting great people in my life even though I don't deserve any of it.
